It's here now!

The Global Educator, by Julie Lindsay

My video is going to be about how virtual reality will transform the world in the near future. My video will begin with clips of the world now without the option for virtual reality and it will end with clips showing the world with virtual reality. I will talk about the differences in learning environments, such as schools, workplaces, just the world in general. My outsource clip could be someone in class looking bored for the beginning of the video, it could be someone casually walking down the street. I’m not sure yet.

There are several places that you can find videos of people using VR. It would probably help to identify in what areas you will see the most change. This is what your subgroup in VR is for. Give yourself a specific area to work with so you don't get lost in all the AMAZING things that VR could do.

Otherwise, great job!

Great idea! I think once you decide a topic from your outsource clip then it will all come together. I suggest using virtual reality clips from school today and then school in the future if you want to use an outsource clip of someone in class who appears bored with the status quo.

Sounds like an interesting take on virtual reality. If you are unsure about what you would use for your clip, I would consider what part of the "after VR" world you are going to present on? Are you going to talk about medical surgery, more interesting classes, travel, etc? Whichever you choose, I would just chose a clip that is the "before" version (hope that makes sense!). For example, you can show a boring class now and an interesting VR classroom later. Or you can show someone watching the travel channel on television wishing they could visit these wonderful places and then someone visiting a beautiful beach in an immersive, VR environment. Anyway...looking good so far!

Hi Skyler!

I think your idea is very cool! Make sure to include the different VR devices that can be used!

Are you going to be following specific people wearing the VR and their video experiences?

Good ideas.  Keep developing them.
