A bit about me!

So a little about me...I am 18 and live in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Canada. I work a part time job outside of high school and I am currently planning my wedding! Very busy! I was born and raised in the southern states so get a lot of shock everytime I see a ton of snow (which we have a lot)! I plan to be a secretary when I am out of high school and get a little more education. My hobbies are volleyball, badminton, horse back riding and cooking! I am looking forward to this project and am a… Continue

Hey everyone!!

My name is Celia! I go to Booker High school located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida...I really love this place there's so much to do! Next year I will be living in West Palm Beach (on the west coast of Florida) and attending Palm Beach Atlantic University. It's the school of my dreams. There I will be majoring in Ministry and dance performance. Dance is my absolute favorite thing to do. It's my passion. I'm so excited for what God has in store for the future!

'Home is where the heart is'

My name is Bethany Slessor. They say, 'home is where the heart is' so, that is how I am going to let others know a little bit of who I am. I live in the beautiful prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada. If you have never been to Canada then your first thoughts of what Canada looks like (trees and rocks and water) is not at all what my home looks like. My home is wide and open, the fields go on forever and ever.… Continue

Progress so far...

Well due to extreme amounts of homework and seemingly otherwise impossible tasks I had to do I am not able to update this blog as much as I hoped too. Oh well, I still try to post as much as I can!

For the project, I was assigned workflow software and had to create a wiki page with about our topic with the other members in our group.  We eventually finished it, and it looks pretty good :D Lots of information and it is organized and clear, I just hope the people grading it…

My Video

Alright, so the focus of my video was going to be the impact of Web 2.0 on the industries of music and the arts. Being a musician, I have some good examples I was going to use.

I have contacted a composer of classical choral music, and he has given me permission to use his 'Virtual Choir' video in my video. It's a super long song(about 6 minutes long) so I obviously will only use part of it. I may also use some other videos of his about the virtual choir...

SOOOO LATE IN GREETING

Hey there! My name is Kate and I am excited for this project! Let me know what you think of the project so far, and maybe a couple thing about yourself. I am a freshman at West CTA, and live in Las Vegas, a hot but beautiful desert. A little something about myself is that I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible doing anything at all, and really love to laugh. I hope that I can get to know everyone and work well with you all in this project, so I'll be seeing you!

Here's what I've put in the Wiki so far....

Web 2.0 is often confused with social networking sites because they are similar, but not quite the same. Social Networking sites are very popular in today's world, and they require Web 2.0 to run. The Internet, through Web 2.0 allows people to connect to each other across the globe…

My reaserch so far

Yes, Google is trying to take over the world. When Google conquered Internet search it started in the early 2000s, and it’s been there ever since.  It was a strictly was a company web, and faced only Web competitors. And all they have are plans to take over the world.   Google is making its deepest foray yet into a foreign territory where its allies are few. Let's start with what, exactly, Google is doing. Google is slowly taking over the world and over the TV. Google will become…

heres is my research so far

You can use facebook, twitter, gmail and all of the ways you can connect with the world online. This is entertainment because you do not need these sources to live. You can use this to help you with art because you can get ideas and you can share the final product with people.

You can use connecting the world online in science by you can share your findings with other people. If you spend too much time on the computer then it can be bad for your health.

Short Story

"You know, people lived around here told me there's something wrong in that pool," said Jude, "one time, I saw  Mrs. Garza's cat was lying right beside the pool and something weird happened…" "What happened?" I asked, "the cat was gone when I look at the same spot again, like vanish, disappeared, and you can see nothing in the pool, no paws left on the ground, and not even the cat's dead body." "Well…maybe you just…

M & U

Entertainment, arts, and leisure are a big part of America today. Without it, people wouldn't be able to partake in any fun activities. Many entertainment places to go are theme parks. A main theme park all over the United States is called "Six flags Great America." Here, there are roller coasters, food, games, even a parade at night for everyone to sit and relax at the end of their big day and get to see all of the fun television character mascots. There are also two other main attractions… Continue
