When addressing the question of what it truly means to have a "flat" world, one can analyze the current tools available to students and how they can utilize those tools to work with others from different parts of the globe. With the rise in current technology, students can use these to reach out to partners and fellow students who are otherwise unreachable. Hello, my name is Alyda(ah-lee-dah). I’m 17 years old and I live in De Forest, Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a very rural community, you can’t go for a 10 minute drive without passing at least 3 fields(corn, beans, vegetables, etc). De Forest is an even smaller community. We have around 1000 students at our high school between four grades.
