The meeting recording for Student Leader Meeting 04/17/13 is View the Blackboard Collaborate recording.

We discussed getting the students who have not contributed to the wiki collaboration to post by May 6. We talked about outsourcing video requests being made by April 19 so all outsource requests can be filled and posted by April 26. We noted that the individual video deadline is May 7. Student Summits for classrooms participating in those will go from May 12-May 30. We also talked about Student Leaders as moderators for the Student Summits. We noted some extra fun things we can do as well. Be sure to view the recording.

Team meetings:

In order to accommodate all time zones involved, meeting times will be listed in GMT – Greenwich Mean Time (check http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/gmt-converter for the times in your time zone) with Mr. Langley’s time zone CDT – Central Daylight Time - in parentheses. Meetings will probably last about 45 minutes. Since we need to get meetings set up, here are the dates/times proposed for the meetings:

Games & Gamification: Room1 March 27 at 9:30 p.m. GMT (4:30 p.m. CDT)

Learning Analytics: Room2 March 27 at 9:30 p.m. GMT (4:30 p.m. CDT)

3D Printing: Room1 March 27 at 11:00 p.m. GMT (6:00 p.m. CDT)

MOOC’s: Room2 March 27 at 11:00 p.m. GMT (6:00 p.m. CDT)

Team meeting dates/times will be posted shortly (in the next 90 minutes) - check back for details. We should have a Student Leaders meeting on Monday to go over our slides and prepare what we will say. Be sure to reply to the Team Meetings discussion post above as soon as you can.
