Building bridges for the future through collaborative projects
Thank you once again for a lovely meeting of global educators. For those of you who were unable to make it - no worries. Here are a few highlights from what was discussed. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, etc. We are here to support you!
We are excited as we begin the collaboration phase of the project. Students will begin adding their research to the team wiki pages in the coming days. Please look over the meeting slides for screenshots/explanations for how to do this.

We also encourage continued communication on the ning. Students should find their research partners by joining their specific research group on the ning. We have a created a group on the ning for each team as it corresponds with the team grid: 1A, 2B, etc.
Finally, Julie Lindsay is creating a Keynote experience for all students and teachers. A short video will be posted on the ning for all schools to view. Students will then be prompted to respond to the video either on the ning as a blog post or on FlipGrid as a video. Of course, students and teachers are welcome to do both.
We are looking for a flurry of activity on the wiki this coming week as students share their research. Please remind students to use the comment feature on the individual google docs. This is incredibly important as we emphasize true global collaboration. All students should be participating in a dialogue about their research contributions, suggestions, and editing ideas.
As always, thanks for all that you do. You are an amazing group of educators! We appreciate the opportunity to work with all of you.
